British Music Night, เมื่ออังกฤษขอยึดพื้นที่เวทีของวงดุริยางค์ฟีลฮาร์โมนิกแห่งประเทศไทย (TPO) เพื่อต้อนรับวาทยกรรับเชิญจากเมืองผู้ดี Jamie Phillips กับการเยือนเมืองไทยครั้งแรกในการอำนวยเพลงร่วมกับวงทีพีโอ โดย Phillips จะมาอำนวยเพลง Benjamin Britten’s favorite Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra และ Ralph Vaughan Williams Symphony No. 2 ร่วมด้วยศิลปินรับเชิญ นักดนตรีทรอมโบน Peter Moore ผู้เพิ่งได้รับการแต่งตั้งให้เป็นสมาชิกที่อายุน้อยที่สุดของวง London Symphony Orchestra ด้วยวัยเพียง 18 ปี และเขาจะมาบรรเลงทรอมโบนเดี่ยวในบทเพลงของ Nathaniel Shilkret ใน Trombone Concerto

England takes center stage as TPO welcomes British guest conductor Jamie Phillips in his debut with the orchestra. Phillips will present Benjamin Britten’s favorite Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra and Ralph Vaughan Williams Symphony No. 2. Joining as soloist is trombonist Peter Moore, who was recently appointed as the youngest member of the London Symphony Orchestra at age 18, performing the Shilkret Trombone Concerto.
