นางกอบกาญจน์ วัฒนวรางกูร รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬา กล่าวว่า “ในประเทศไทยอุตสาหกรรมการจัดการประชุมนานาชาติ การท่องเที่ยวเพื่อเป็นรางวัล การประชุมวิชาชีพ และการจัดงานแสดงสินค้านานาชาติ หรืออุตสาหกรรมไมซ์ เป็นอุตสาหกรรมบริการที่นำนักท่องเที่ยวคุณภาพเข้าสู่ประเทศไทยและสร้างรายได้ให้แก่ประเทศอย่างมหาศาล  รวมทั้งมีบทบาทสำคัญในการกระจายรายได้ไปยังภาคธุรกิจอื่นที่เกี่ยวข้อง เช่น โรงแรม ร้านอาหาร ศูนย์ประชุม ศูนย์จัดแสดงสินค้า นักท่องเที่ยวจากต่างประเทศที่เดินทางมาร่วมกิจกรรมไมซ์ในประเทศไทยมีค่าใช้จ่ายเฉลี่ยต่อคนสูงกว่านักท่องเที่ยวทั่วไปประมาณสองถึงสามเท่า ความร่วมมือระหว่างไอคอนสยามและกลุ่มทรู ในการสร้าง “ทรู ไอคอนสยาม ฮอลล์” ครั้งนี้ จึงนับเป็นนิมิตหมายที่ดีที่ภาคเอกชนเข้ามามีส่วนร่วมกับภาครัฐในการสนับสนุน ส่งเสริม การท่องเที่ยวและอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์ เพื่อกระตุ้นการสร้างรายได้ให้กับประเทศ และขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจของประเทศ ซึ่งสอดรับกับนโยบายสานพลังประชารัฐของรัฐบาล ในการสร้างประเทศไทยให้เป็นจุดมุ่งหมายในการจัดงานไมซ์ทั้งของภูมิภาคและของโลก”

“ทรู ไอคอนสยาม ฮอลล์” ลงทุนด้วยงบประมาณกว่า 2,000 ล้านบาท มีขนาดพื้นที่กว่า 12,000 ตารางเมตร ความจุขนาด 3,000 ที่นั่ง ตั้งอยู่บนชั้น 7 และ 7M  ของโครงการไอคอนสยาม ที่สามารถมองเห็นทัศนียภาพอัน

งดงามของสายน้ำเจ้าพระยา โดยจะเป็นสุดยอดศูนย์ประชุมมาตรฐานระดับโลกและการจัดงานแสดงระดับนานาชาติล้ำสมัยแห่งยุค โดดเด่นด้วยนวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยีที่ดีทีสุดประกอบไปด้วย

6.การจัดเลี้ยง  สามารถรองรับการจัดเลี้ยงได้ทุกประเภท จำนวนมากกว่า 3,000 คน  โดยมีห้องจัดเตรียมอาหารและอุปกรณ์การจัดเลี้ยงครบครัน  เช่น การจัดงานเลี้ยงในโอกาสสำคัญต่างๆ และ งานฉลองมงคลสมรส เป็นต้น   ท่ามกลางบรรยากาศที่งดงามของทัศนียภาพสายน้ำเจ้าพระยา

Bangkok (21 July 2016) – ICONSIAM Co., Ltd., the developer of ICONSIAM – the iconic new landmark of Thailand, and True Group, the convergence lifestyle leader which offers a full range of communication services and solutions, today, is building “True ICONSIAM Hall” , an advanced world-class venue complete with the best innovation and technology and world-class international standard design worthy of being called 1 of the 7 Wonders of ICONSIAM – a first-in-Thailand and a first-in-the-world phenomenon.
